1. Important points

-          Know which professors to avoid when signing up for classes, so do your research!

-          Internships and clips are great experience, and they look good on your resume.

-          Ethics class- Emily recommends Norm Luis for the instructor.

-          Take classes outside of the journalism college, that way you can broaden your knowledge and get experience in other fields.

-          Classes you should take with reporting: Mass Media & You, TV & American Soceity

-          Also good to know: take fact finding before reporting. You learn where to look for public records, and how to read and understand them.

1. Fundraiser

-          Joint fundraiser with Society of Professional Journalists @ The Gelato Companyà Thursday, Nov. 18
